In the second assignment, our lecturer and tutor decided to let students to have opportunity to explore different drawings which is scale drawings. Students are required to choose personal space (bedroom / study room) in their house and to measure using measuring tape before drawings. Then, students are available to choose their suitable scale based on the size of their selected space and furniture to produce one floor plan, two internal elevations (longitudinal and horizontal), one section and one set of detailed drawings of a loose furniture which are plan, elevations, sections and one zoom in details.

I chose my bedroom for the second assignment and also use measuring tape to measure the dimension of my bedroom then later translate it into my drawings using scale ruler. Before drawing on A4 paper, I have tried to draw it on a graph paper to ensure the measurement are correct.
In this drawing, I have learnt a lot of unfamiliar things however I have managed to apply the symbols into the drawings. Moreover, I have also referred to the samples that our tutor gave us.
In this elevation drawing, I have manage to draw in a comfortable way while using scale ruler after manage to understand the function and the skills of scale ruler in a clearer way.
In this section drawing, I have also introduce break lines, and beam. I have also referred to the samples as reference given by our tutor in order to understand the whole drawings.
In this fifth drawing, I have choose drawer as my furniture. In this drawing, I have introduced the texture of the drawer by drawing curvy lines onto the surface of the drawer. I have also added the line in the middle to indicate the section line so as marking down the elevations for the next three drawings.
I have tried the scale of 1:50 in order to enlarge/zoom in my drawings with the help of scale ruler. Before drawing the drawer with scale, I have measured the drawer with measuring tape to avoid any error/mistakes.
I have drawn this elevation drawing applying the same method as the previous drawing but with different elevation.
This drawing is a extra drawing because I wanted to draw a full set furniture and the rear elevation is different from elevation A and B. Therefore, I draw it to make it as a fully complete furniture drawings.
I have referred to my plan view drawing in page 5 to indicate the section drawing.
I have use 1:5 scale in this drawing in order to zoom in the details of the drawing as drawn in plan view.
