In this final assignment, students were given the ability to explore and propose a micro house project. In the first task, students were grouped into five and worked together to propose a site, choose a layout given in the brief, create a title block so as propose materials and furnitures from IKEA website for our micro house project. In the second task, students are required to draw and produce individually with scale in their previous findings on materials and furnitures to apply and produce a site plan, plan view, two external elevations (longitudinal and horizontal) so as one section of the micro house project.
On week 9, my team mates and I had a group discussion on our micro house project. We had Forest as our site condition due to we all are nature lover and we had chose Kawasan Industri Desa Aman as our location. During the discussion, our group leader talk about Spongebob and I suggested that as our company's name since I wanted to create a funny yet childish. we had also include one more space which is balcony in our micro house project. since it is a group work, we had also distributed the work load by searching for furnitures in each individual spaces.
On week 10, we had finalised our furnitures and also got green light by our tutor to proceed to our next step which is individual work. Before finalising our furnitures, we realised some of our furnitures are too large in scale and also too many furnitures therefore, we had to omit some of the furnitures.
From week 11 until week 13, I have been progressing my drawings and also shown my progress to my tutor weekly for feedbacks. I have a hard time on drawing my plan view however, I have managed to complete it during the fourth time and I am happy for myself. On week 14, I have managed to ink all the five drawings and submit my assignment on time.
